He previously served in the same role with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, The Hong Kong Philharmonic, and prior to that, as Assistant Concertmaster with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

In addition to a busy orchestral performing calendar, Igor Yuzefovich continues to be an active chamber musician, often reuniting with the Monument Piano Trio which he co-founded in 2004. The trio made its concert debut in the US to critical acclaim and has since captivated audiences across the United States and in China. Its debut recording, featuring works by Brahms, Shostakovich and Schoenfield received high praise from critics and audiences alike.

While Mr. Yuzefovich’s concerts and recitals have taken him from Carnegie Hall to the Cairo Opera House, across Europe and throughout Asia, he has been equally committed to educating the next generation of musicians as an Artist Faculty at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in Singapore and is sought after for solo and chamber music masterclasses around the world.

Born into a musical family in Moscow, Russia, Mr. Yuzefovich began his violin studies at the age of 5, and soon after enrolled at the Gnessin Music School, studying with Irina Svetlova. In 1991, Mr. Yuzefovich moved to the United States where he continued his violin studies and later earned advanced degrees from The Peabody Conservatory under the tutelage of world renowned pedagogue Victor Danchenko.

When he is not leading the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Yuzefovich can be seen and heard in his frequent appearances as guest concertmaster with many of world’s well-respected orchestras.

Mark Gothoni is from Finland and studied with Ana Chumachenco, Shmuel Ashkenasi and Sándor Végh. After winning prizes at international competitions, his versatile concert career began with the "Debut of the Year" award at the Finnish Jyväskylä Arts Festival. As a soloist and chamber musician, Mark Gothoni has made a name for himself on all continents, performing in the most prestigious halls - Berlin Philharmonie, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Lincoln Center New York, Wigmore Hall London, Kioi Hall Tokyo, as well as at music festivals from Kuhmo in Finland to the Casals Festival in Puerto Rico. He has been first violinist of the Orpheus Quartet since 2004, as well as a member of the Mozart Piano Quartet, with whom he is under exclusive contract to the CD label MDG – Dabringhaus&Grimm. From 1996 to 2004 he worked as concertmaster with the Munich and Zurich Chamber Orchestras, among others. From 2004 to 2008 he was Musical Director of the European Union Chamber Orchestra. His teaching career has taken him to McGill University in Montreal and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, among other places, before he was appointed professor of violin at the Berlin University of the Arts. Along the way, he gives master classes around the world, including Tokyo University of Arts, Liceu Barcelona, Western University of Ontario, Campos do Jordao, Brazil. From 1998 to 2011 Mark Gothoni was artistic director of the "Festivo" music festival in Rauma, Finland. Since 2001 he has directed the chamber music courses of the Savonlinna Music Academy.

Started his violin studies with Prof. Michael Gaisler in Israel at the age of 5. At the age of 9 Lihay Bendayan performed to Maestro Isaac Stern who recommended him to the legendary teacher Ilona Feher, the teacher of Shmuel Ashkenazi, Pinchas Zuckerman and Shlomo Mintz, with whom he studied until the age of 13. He later studied with Prof. Yair Kless in Israel, Prof. Rodney Friend in London, Jean-Pierre Wallez in Geneva, Miriam Solovieff in Paris and during several years with the hungarian Virtuoso Tibor Varga in Switzerland.

Prof. Lihay Bendayan combines with passion his concert's career with an intense pedagogical activity. He is regularly invited to give Master-classes at prestigious universities around Europe such as the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, the Royal Academy of Music KMH in Stockholm, Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hämburg and Würzburg Hochschules in Germany, the Faculty of Music at the University of Belgrade, the Cracow Academy of Music, and at international master-courses such as the London Masterclasses series, the Bavarian Academy of Music in Hammelburg, the Musicalta academy in France, the Ameropa Music Festival in Prague and others. His students from around the world are serving in key positions worldwide and are winners of international competitions.

Ulla Benz is professional violinist, passionate teacher and additional medical doctor. As such, teaching students and inspiring them to become interested in classical music, is more than a 'Job' to her. Whether for the renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the University of the Arts in Berlin or the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Jerusalem, Ulla Benz loves to work with young people.

At a very young age she discovered her love and passion for music. She received her first violin lessons at the age of five; soon afterwards she was to become a multiple prize-winner at the German music competition Jugend Musiziert. She also received the Dieter-Ullrich-Musikförderpreis (Dieter-Ullrich-Sponsorship-Award). She studied with such distinguished teachers as Zakhar Bron, Liana Issakadze, Werner Scholz, Joachim Scholz, and Detlev Grevesmühl.

Ulla Benz has performed as a soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Georgian Chamber Orchestra, the Loh-Orchestra Sondershausen, the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra Asunción, the Orquestra de Camara Opus Belo Horizonte, and the Orquestra Sinfonica Municipal de Sao Paulo. She has performed with these orchestras in Europe, Asia, and South America. Ulla Benz performed the violin concertos by Brahms, Korngold and Prokoview on tours through South America between 2009 and 2016. During this times she performed in Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil.

As a chamber musician she was invited to international music festivals in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, England, Ireland, France, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Ulla Benz was a violinist for the Norway String Quartet in 2003 and 2004. During this time she discovered her passion for teaching.

Ulla Benz was invited to India and Israel as a guest lecturer at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in 2006. Here she experienced for the first time how important music and learning were, especially for children and youths from conflict areas. It was during this time that Ulla Benz recognised that music and learning could convey a new outlook on individual potential for young people.

She taught a national three-month master class in Paraguay in 2007. This master class was part of Sonidos de la Tierra, the national Paraguayan youth orchestra project, lead by it's founder and conductor Luis Szaran. In the same year, Ulla Benz became the artistic director of Sonidos de la Tierra for their European tour. She also worked as violin coach for the Palestine National Youth Orchestra.

Upon the recommendation of Professor Berent Korfker Ulla Benz taught at the Yehudi Menuhin School, London. Here she deputised for Berent Korfker's, teaching his class for several weeks during 2007 and 2008.

Ulla Benz was invited to South America and Asia several times during 2009 and 2018. She taught master classes at more than 10 universities, e.g. Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP), Instituto Universitario National de Artes (IUNA) and Instituto Superior de Arte Teatro Colon (ISATC) in Buenos Aires or at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (YSTCM) of the National University of Singapore.
During that times she worked together with such renowned artists like the violinist Shlomo Mintz.

In 2010-2013 Ulla Benz was teaching at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, U.K. Since 2012 she became a professor in violin at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. In autumn 2015 she was appointed as professor for violin at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Since 2018 she is lecturer in violin at University of the Arts in Berlin.

In 2018, she became a guest lecturer at the UdK Berlin under the Mentoring Program for Highly Qualified Artists and Scientists and has been teaching violin since October.

Ulla Benz is an additional doctor, holds lectures on music medicine at congresses and has a teaching competency for violin as an additional qualification from the European Suzuki Association.

Since 1980, when he was appointed associate assistant instructor at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, USA, Zack has enthusiastically dedicated himself to teaching as well and has held Master Classes in all over Europe, Japan, China, the USA, Israel, Australia and Chile. Since 1994 he has been Professor for Violin and Chamber Music at the “Hochschule für Musik“ in Würzburg. In April 2015 he was appointed Guest Professor to the Tokyo University of the Arts – Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku. Many of his students, among them Tobias Feldmann, Yasuka Morizono, Anne Luisa Kramb and Seiji Okamoto, have won prizes at prestigious competitions, both national and international; others have become members of well-known German orchestras such as the Münchner Philharmoniker, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Bamberger Symphoniker and the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester Hamburg, some in leading positions.

Ludwig Müller, geboren in Leoben (Steiermark), studierte an den Musikhochschulen in Graz und Wien bei Valery Gradow und Klaus Eichholz, Günther Pichler und Ernst Kovacic. Sein Diplom im Konzertfach Violine erhielt er mit einstimmiger Auszeichnung.

Darüber hinaus tritt das Quartett regelmäßig im Wiener Konzerthaus und im Wiener Musikverein auf und ist Gast in zahlreichen internationalen Kammermusikzyklen und Musikfestivals. Die Gesamteinspielung der Streichquartette Arnold Schönbergs wurde von der internationalen Fachpresse als neue Referenzaufnahme dieser Werke bezeichnet. Anlässlich des 50. Todestages Erich Wolfgang Korngolds erschien eine Gesamtaufnahme seiner Streichquartette, des Klavierquintetts und der Suite mit Henri Sigfridsson und des Streichsextetts mit Thomas Selditz und Marius Diaz.

Violinist Tiffany Pei Hsuan Wu is a native of Taiwan, she began violin study at age of 8 with Chiao Ling Sun, Yun Hong Su, Yon Hsin Fang and Hui Chun Lin. Under the tutelage of James Buswell and Eric Rosenblith, she completed high school at Walnut Hill School, Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston with honors of Cum Laude and Distinction in Performance.

Besides winning top prizes in competitions in Taiwan, Ms. Wu won the prestigious ChiMei Arts Award (奇美藝術獎), the audition for ''The Music Talent Bank'' (音樂人才庫) in Taiwan, and subsequently received an invitation to perfrom at the presidential inauguration concert. Tiffany's debut recording of Tchaikovsky's ''Souvenir d'un lieu cher'' in Moscow with the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra has been broadcast on the Classical Station 97.7 in Taiwan.

Ms. Wu has collaborated with orchestras as a soloist since teenage years: Argentina National Symphony Orchestra, Mar del Plata Symphony Orchestra in Argentina, Tiangjin Symphony Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestea in China, Valencia Filharmonia Orchestra in Italy, Voronezh Philharmonic Orchestra, Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. Wu has collaborated with many renowned conductors, including Erich Kunzel, Zdenêk Mácal, Emir Saul, Vladimir Verbitsky, as well as Taiwanese conductors Amy Chang, Shu Si Chen and Chiu Shen Chen. In 2007, Ms. Wu was invited by the Argentinian composer Alicia Terzian and performed her violin concerto under the baton of Emir Saul with the Argentina National symphony orchestra.

In November 2005, Tiffany was invited as a soloist to participate in the ''Taiwan Symphonic Festival'', performing Sarasate's Carmen Fantasy and John Williams' Schindler's List under the baton of Erich Kunzel. Prior to the completion of Bachelor's degree in 2002, she was invited as a soloist to tour to China with the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, performed Shostakovich Violin Concerto No.1 at Shanghai Symphony Hall and Shenzhen Grand Theater, and received enthusiastic reviews from the Chinese press. In year 2003, Ms. Wu was invited to perform Arnold Schönberg's Chamber Symphony op.9 for 15 solo instruments in the audition for assistant conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, under the guidance of James Levine.

Ms. Wu has given recitals and chamber music concerts in Austria, Germany, Canada, England, Italy, north America, south America and Taiwan: She performed at the Banff international chamber music festival, Amici della Musica del Lago di Garda, the Contemporato Festival V with Italian guitar virtuoso Massimo Scattolin in Prato, Italy, Tigre Spring Festival with Aron Quartett in Argentina, the Fundación Encuentros Internacioles de Música Contemporanea in Buenos Aires, at the National Concert Hall, Taipei, the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage (D.C). In 2017, Tiffany was invited as the artist at the 10th KammerMusik Festival Schloss Laudon in Vienna, Austria, in the same year, Aron Quartett invited Ms. Wu as a guest at the ''Ahrenshoop KammerMusikTage'' in Germany, in collaboration with NDR.

Ms. Wu lives in Vienna, Austria, with her daughter and husband. She is the member of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, guest violinist in Orquestra de Cadaqués, Die Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, where she performs regularly under Sir Neville Marriner, Gianandrea Noseda, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Jaime Martin, Heinrich Schiff and Joshua Weilerstein.

Ms. Wu is a founding member of the Korngold Ensemble Wien, she plays on a violin by Nicolò Amati, 1662.

Marc Danel grew up in Lille, France, where both he and his sister learned violin with Jezdimir Vujicic. He continued his studies with Prof Igor Ozim in Cologne graduating with high hours in 1992.

In 1991, he founded the Danel Quartet, studying extensively with the Amadeus and Borodin Quartets, as well as with Pierre Penassou, Hugh Maguire, Walter Levin and Fiodor Druzhinin.

As leader of the quartet, he was major prizewinner of all the six competitions they entered between 1991 to 1995, including Evian, London and St Petersburg.

Since 1991, Marc Danel has performed 2500 concerts with the quartet including 25 performances of the complete cycle of Shostakovitch quartets and numerous performances of the Beethoven, Weinberg and Bartok cycles in the major halls in Europe, USA, Russia, China, Japan, Taiwan, South America and Central Asia. The quartet have recorded more than 20 CDs, garnering numerous awards in Europe and the US.

The quartet have championed the great but neglected soviet composer Mechtislav Weinberg, playing his quartets extensively since the ‘90s and recording the all of his 17 string quartets, (2009). For Weinberg’s centenary this year, the quartet will give 7 performances of the complete cycle of quartets, some of which the quartet have premiered.

Marc Danel is artistic leader of the Dutch National String Quartet Academy (NSKA), many students of which have won major competitions. A highly sought-after teacher, he teaches at CNSDM Lyon and IMEP Namur, and at Manchester University where the quartet are artists in residence. He has also given Masterclasses in Europe, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Bielorussia and has a regular collaboration with the National Youth Orchestra of Chile.

Gwendolyn Masin is one of today!s significant concert violinists and an innovator in classical music. She performs internationally as a soloist, and in collaboration with musicians, artists, and orchestras. Notable partnerships include that with the Saint Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra, Bernese Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra and RTÉ Concert Orchestra of Ireland, the Hungarian National Philharmonic as well as its Chamber Orchestra, Savannah, and Georgia Philharmonic Orchestras, to name some. She enjoys a flourishing career that takes her all over Europe and the United States, as well as Asia, Russia, South Africa, and the Middle East.

Gwendolyn is descendant of a lineage of classically-trained musicians from Central and Eastern Europe. She holds degrees with highest honours from the Royal Schools of Music in London, England; the Hochschule der Künste in Berne, Switzerland; the Musikhochschule in Lübeck, Germany, and a PhD from Trinity College, Ireland. Her doctoral thesis (2012) examines the similarities and differences within 20th-century violin pedagogy and traces a history of violin playing from 1750 until today. Her teachers include her parents, Herman Krebbers, Igor Ozim, Ana Chumachenco, Zakhar Bron and Shmuel Ashkenasi. She also speaks five languages.

Gwendolyn approaches education, research, writing, and public speaking with zeal. She has been a keynote speaker at platforms as diverse as the European String Teachers Association, TEDxBern, and a string of colleges in North America including Princeton University, Berklee College of Music, Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus and the Faculty of Music of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). In 2009, the award-winning, Michaela’s Music House, The Magic of the Violin, was published. The method includes her studies and compositions and is available in English and German as part of the ESTA Edition collection available via Müller & Schade. Gwendolyn’s articles have been published in The Strad Magazine and other trade journals. From 2013 to 2021, Gwendolyn was professor and researcher of violin studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, Switzerland.

As a commissioner for contemporary music, Gwendolyn has premiered works by, amongst others, Raymond Deane, Thorsten Encke, Thomas Fortmann, Don Li, Urs Peter Schneider, Daniel Schnyder, Eric Sweeney, Dobrinka Tabakova, Martijn Voorvelt, and John Buckley, the latter of whom dedicated his first violin concerto to her.

One of her intentions is creating alternative means that bring more music to more people. Gwendolyn is very active as an artistic director and producer. Most prominent for her is her role as founding artistic director of GAIA, an annual festival held in Switzerland since 2009, recognised as one of the country’s most important. Other notable ventures include establishing the international, multidisciplinary series, In Search of Lost Time in 2004 which has taken place in multiple cities in Ireland and in Berne, Switzerland, as well as Cocktail für die Musen, a series for Casino Berne for which Gwendolyn creates elaborate, one-off productions involving classical music and other art disciplines since 2019. Gwendolyn is also co-founder and co-artistic director of the International Chamber Music Series and International Master Course at Dublin’s National Concert Hall together with pianist Finghin Collins since 2016. Faculty members of the summer school have included Mihaela Martin, Frans Helmerson, Lars Anders Tomter, Gary Hoffman, Kim Kashkashian, and Gilles Apap.

In 2020, as a response to COVID-19, Gwendolyn brought The Exhale online. The Exhale is an online platform and in-person retreat providing professional courses and holistic masterclasses to musicians, practitioners, and artists from across the globe. It is unique in its holistic approach to music education, employs more than 90 artists and offers a sense of normalcy during what has been a highly disruptive time for the arts.

Since live concerts recommenced during the summer of 2021, Gwendolyn began “Gwendolyn’s Bridge Club”. Patrons of the club can join for as little as one Swiss franc a week. The club democratises the reception and impact of music and the arts. It organises myriad events for its patrons, presenting works that audiences can identify with, without skimping on the need for discourse around important themes which art can represent — from the collective to the individual.

Gwendolyn is an Orchid Classics and a Naxos recording artist.

Violinist Tatiana Dimitriades joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra at the beginning of the 1987-1988 concert season. She has played under the music directorship of maestros Seiji Ozawa, James Levine, and Andris Nelsons, in addition countless guest conductors. She is also active as a soloist and chamber musician. Highlights of her solo performances include appearances at Carnegie Hall with the Senior Concert Orchestra, at the Grand Teton Festival playing the Mendelssohn Concerto, and at Weill Hall, under the sponsorship of the Associated Music Teachers of New York.

Born and raised in New York, Ms. Dimitriades attended the Pre-College Division of the Juilliard School. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees and an Artist Diploma from the Indiana University School of Music, where she was awarded the Performer's Certificate in recognition of outstanding musical performance. A recipient of the Lili Boulanger Memorial Award, Ms. Dimitirades has also won the Guido Chigi Saracini Prize presented by the Academia Musicale Chigiana of Sienna, Italy, on the occasion of the Paganini Centenary, and the Mischa Pelz Prize of National Young Musicians Foundation's Debut Competition in Los Angeles.

Ms. Dimitriades is a former member and frequent guest of the Boston Artists Ensemble and was a member of the Walden Chamber Players. She can also be heard regularly in chamber music ‘Prelude’ concerts with BSO colleagues at Symphony Hall in Boston and at Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood. She and her husband, pianist Jonathan Bass, perform frequently as the Boston Duo. Tatiana Dimitriades was concertmaster of the Newton Symphony Orchestra and the New Philharmonia Orchestras, and has appeared on numerous occasions as concerto soloist with these and other Boston area orchestras.
